At this point in time, at the current rate of flow, there is absolutely no impact to Southwest Florida. There is no projected path that would carry oil, or the less damaging oil "sheen," to the shores of Manasota Key, Englewood or Port Charlotte. We are thankfully being spared the trauma that our friends in Louisiana are going through. 

While the beautiful beaches of Florida’s West Coast are clear, pristine and open for business, Sunshine Vacation Rentals will continue to pro actively address concerns emanating from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill.

In the event that there is a negative impact on our beaches from the oil spill and you are unable to access our beautiful shoreline, Sunshine Vacation Rental guests will receive a FULL REFUND or ALTERNATE VACATION DATE…YOUR CHOICE !!
